OMH Vol­un­TEEN Pro­gram makes the news!

Nearly 90 students from Onslow, Jones and Duplin counties spent last summer serving as Ambassadors of Good Will at Onslow Memorial Hospital through a program called VolunTEENs.

The students in the program are provided with an environment and an opportunity to learn, help others, build friendships, and give back to the community while providing assistance to staff and departments.

“This year’s VolunTEENs maintained first-rate behavior at all times,” said Charlotte Rodriguez of the Hospital Volunteer Service, “reflecting great credit upon themselves, their families, the Hospital and the community.”
