JACKSONVILLE, NC – July 1, 2024, Onslow Memorial Hospital is pleased to introduce Dr. Nicki Downes as the newest member of the Onslow Surgical Clinic (OSC) team. Dr. Downes is a highly respected and accomplished surgeon specializing in breast surgical oncology. Her addition brings a wealth of expertise for breast care in Onslow County and neighboring areas highlighting Onslow Memorial’s commitment to excellence.

Dr. Downes' arrival fortifies a comprehensive breast care program in Onslow County, encompassing mammography/imaging, surgical services, cancer treatment, breast reconstruction, and breast reduction.

Dr. Downes graduated from the Lincoln Memorial University DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2015. She completed her residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and then finished a Surgical Breast Oncology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Akron General in 2021.
